2:44 · For sellers and warehouses
Send stock to your warehouse
Create a purchase, let your warehouse unload and receive it onto bins, and watch waiting orders pick up the new stock on their own.
The flow
Four steps, three owners.
- You
1 · Create a purchase
It tells your warehouse what is coming and which products the stock belongs to.
- Warehouse
2 · Unload
The warehouse counts the containers, pallets and boxes that arrived. Each delivery is its own unload.
- Warehouse
3 · Process
The warehouse receives each product onto a bin, and marks broken or missing units.
- Automatic
4 · Orders move on
Received stock is reserved for waiting orders straight away.
Create the purchase
You, before the shipment leaves.
- You
Add the products
Go to Purchases and click the green Create Purchase button. Search for each single product and set its quantity. Virtual bundles and linked listings do not appear: stock always goes to the single inventory products.
- You
Fill in the details
Choose the Depot, the Load type (container, pallet or box) and the Load count. Tick Price, tracking to add the carrier and tracking number. Create purchase saves it as Awaiting Arrival.
Change it while it is open
Until the warehouse has processed it.
- You
Edit on the purchase page
Open the purchase. Use the pencil in Ordered to change a quantity, Add product to add a line, or the bin icon to remove one. Lines the warehouse has already processed are locked.
Unload and count
The warehouse, when the shipment arrives.
- Warehouse
Count what arrived
On the purchase, Process opens Unloads first. The warehouse enters what came off this delivery as Unload #1, correcting your estimate if needed, clicks Submit & charge and then Confirm & charge. The fee follows this count, and the purchase becomes Arrived. If more arrives later, Add unload records it as Unload #2, charged on its own counts (see Receiving in depth).
Receive onto bins
The warehouse, product by product.
- Warehouse
Scan the bin
In Process Purchase, scan or select a storable location first. Stock can only be placed on a storable bin. In this bin shows what is already on it.
- Warehouse
Accept each product
Pick a product, keep RECEIVED, check the quantity and click Accept. Broken or missing units are accepted separately as DAMAGED or MISSING. When every unit is accounted for, the purchase is Processed. On a computer you can also drag a product onto the bin to open Accept into bin.
Waiting orders move on
Nobody needs to click anything.
- Automatic
Reserved oldest first
The moment units are received, Enreship reserves them for waiting orders, oldest first. Orders that become complete move to Ready to Ship, including the rest of an order you released in part.
- Automatic
Only received units count
DAMAGED and MISSING units never become stock and never reserve orders.
Check the result
You, after processing.
- You
Read the purchase
The purchase shows Accepted, Damaged, Missing and Pending for the whole purchase and for each line. Agree with your warehouse what happens to damaged units. Click a tile, or filter the Status column, to see only those lines; each unload appears under the charges as Unload fee #n.
