Orders that need your decision
Payment Required and Waiting for Stock are your to-do list. Approve unpaid orders, and decide whether a short order waits, ships in part, or is closed outside Enreship.
Whose turn is it?
Two statuses wait for you.
| Status | What it means | Whose turn |
|---|---|---|
| Payment Required | The marketplace still reports the order as unpaid. | You |
| Waiting for Stock | At least one product is short. | You, or Automatic when stock arrives |
| Ready to Ship onward | Everything is reserved; the warehouse picks and packs. | Warehouse |
Orders in Payment Required
The marketplace has not confirmed payment yet.
- You
Check the marketplace first
Most of these orders become paid on their own and move on with the next sync. If the marketplace still shows the order as unpaid but you know it is safe to ship, you can approve it yourself.
- You
Approve for processing
Open the order. On the Ship Order tab, under Waiting for payment approval, click Approve for processing and confirm. You can also use the same action from the order's row menu.
- Automatic
Stock is checked right away
After you approve, Enreship reserves stock. The order goes to Ready to Ship if everything is in stock, otherwise to Waiting for Stock. Later syncs that still say unpaid do not move it back. A cancellation from the marketplace still cancels it.
- Warehouse
Your warehouse waits
Your warehouse sees the order but does not pack it until you approve it.
Orders in Waiting for Stock
Wait, ship what you have, or close it yourself.
- You
First, find out why it is waiting
Open the order and go to the Ship Order tab. The Waiting for stock box lists what is short. If a line says Wrong inventory product?, the stock is there but on another product: link it (see Connect listings to your stock) and the order usually moves on by itself.
- Automatic
Doing nothing is a valid choice
When new stock is received, waiting orders are reserved oldest first and move to Ready to Ship once complete. If the buyer can wait, you do not need to touch the order.
- You
Reserve what is in stock
Click Reserve n on a line, or Reserve all, to hold the units that are available now. They move to Reserved for this order. You can reserve part of a line, for example 19 of 30.
- You
Ship the part you have
Click Release for shipping to send the reserved part to your warehouse as its own order. The rest keeps waiting and is released automatically when its stock arrives. Each released part is listed with Open, and Undo takes it back as long as it is not packed.
- You
Give stock back
Return n to stock frees reserved units, for example to let a more urgent order use them. Other waiting orders get them first.
- You
You shipped it another way
If you sent some or all of the products yourself, click Mark as fulfilled outside Enreship, choose the lines and quantities, and Confirm external fulfillment. Reserved stock goes back on hand, and Enreship does not buy a label for those lines.
- Warehouse
Your warehouse sees it, but does not decide
Your warehouse can open a waiting order and see the same panel, read-only. Reserving, releasing and fulfilling outside Enreship are your decisions.
Who decides
Your warehouse sees, you decide.
You (seller)
- Approve for processing
- Reserve, Return to stock
- Release for shipping, Undo
- Mark as fulfilled outside Enreship
Your warehouse
- Sees the same panel, read-only
- Packs what you release
- Receives stock, which moves waiting orders on
