A packed order was cancelled

Find boxes that still hold a cancelled order, void the label, and put the units back on the bin they were picked from.

Why it matters

Stock counts stay right.

  • Warehouse

    Back to the bin

When a packed order is cancelled, its box still holds the units. Put them back on the bin they came from, or Enreship's stock counts drift from what is on the shelf.

Spot the box

Marked red on Shipments.

  • Warehouse

    Order cancelled

On Shipments the row turns red with an Order cancelled badge, and the order number is struck through. The red Cancelled orders button shows only those boxes on the page.

Return to shelf

Three steps in one dialog.

  • Warehouse

    1 · Void label

Click Return to shelf. If the box has a label, Void label cancels it at the carrier before anything leaves the box.

  • Warehouse

2 · Units back on the bin

Take the units out, put them on the bin shown and click I’ve returned them to the shelf.

  • Automatic

    3 · Shipment cancelled

The shipment is cancelled on its own. The stock itself was already freed when the order was cancelled.

A shared box

When other orders share it.

  • Warehouse

    Repack and check

Only the cancelled order's units come out; the box stays active for its other orders and shows Contents changed. Repack it, then use Mark box contents checked from the row menu. It needs a new rate before its label.
